Experience and lessons learned during Iftar

Assalamualaikum wbt. Ramadan entered the 12th day of 2014 and it feels like not too late for me to say to all the readers Happy Ramadan Kareem and fasting.

As usual, my daily routine, break their fast at a mosque. The mosque that i choose is Shah Alam Mosque. At 6:30 pm, go to the mosque. If late, mosques will be full of people will break their fast on it. My aim in writing this blog is to answer some questions about what I and many others feel. What is it like to break or Iftar in the Masjid during Ramadan?

In my opinion, especially in the Iftar in Ramadan Mosque has too many advantages. First, as we do know that Ramadan is a month of education. So one of the big advantages that I get when Ramadan is SELF DISCIPLINE. Because my house and mosque are far, I need to prepare early and early to go the mosque.

Second, Iftar in Masjid educate me meaning thankfulness and humility. At the Mosque, the food served is the same for everyone. Tasty or not is not the issue. We have to go with what Allah has given on that day. Even some of the seeds of dates and a glass of water is already enough to perform Maghrib. After Maghrib prayer, we lined up together to get heavier foods to keep you full.

The third is about advance in prayer. Since childhood, breaking fast at home is definitely fun with delicacies served. Cold water and a variety of delicious flavors will certainly make a full stomach and began to arise discomfort. So little time taken to defuse the situation before it can bounce up to prayer. This does not take matter amount of food eaten. Leaning fullness that makes us not keep up prayer.

The fourth is the preferred INTENT PRAYING. Those who have attended the program operated by Ustaz usually know about MODEL SKIN ONIONS. Our behavior in the mosque more easily affected by the environment. When other people got up to perform prayers, we also often feel the need to rise up with it even though we are not the norm. This usually appears on the embarrassment when others do then we do or the feeling of filling vacancies among ADHAN AND IQAMAH.

This is in part experience of that I have seen, and many more that I think readers can see. Please share your opinion about this in the comment section. Hopefully this time we can Ramadhan filled with good practice and improve the quality of our worship, and to proceed in the month - next month Insha Allah.
